I would like info on primers CCI and Rem. Rifle and Revolver. I have no idea how long ago Dad primed these cases. My question is how long are they good for use, if not good anymore how do I punch them out safely? They have just been on a shelf in the garage. Kept in original containers. Any ideas. Thanks Tom

Primed cases will be fine. Many people have primers lying around from 20-25 years ago that are still working well. Check to make sure that there is no foriegn contaminates in the cases (i.e. mouse presents), otherwise load and shoot them.

As long as primers are kept free from liquid they should be ok. They are not hygroscopic and are therefore not really affected by things like humidity.

CCI and Remington primers are good brands, never heard of Revolver so I can't say anything about them.
