I am a CCI kind of guy. I have used (primers) made by Federal, Remington and Winchester but, I started with CCI and only buy others when I have to. Like this past year!

All back orders have been filled now (for me), so I am sitting on a years worth of primers.

What are the rest of you using?

I agree that you buy what you can get.  In the last year, I have tried Wolf, initially because they were $10 cheaper and then later because they were all that were available.  No complaints.  I have typically been a Remington and Federal user.  Since CCI and Federal are both owned by ATK, I wonder if they are actually the same. Huh

Well DaveBone, I think you said it when you said,
 "I started with CCI",,
It seem's to be the common default, that no matter what a guy starts with, that's the one he uses.

Judging by reading several loading manuals, and seeing they almost all use different primers, and each I might add for "the most accurate load",,all the big makers primers seem to work. They all go off with a bang.

I'm currently with remington's,,only because they cost a lousy dollar more, and because of that, nobody buy's them unless they have too,,so they always seem in stock. One tenth of one cent more per primer means darn little too me.

I do have cci at hand. Because they are proven dimentionaly larger and thus will be used as my cases age and the primer pocket opens

I did not know CCI and Federal are owned by the same company. Thanx for that tidbit!

And that's not all . . .

ATK (Alliant Technosystems) owns, RCBS, Speer, CCI, Federal Premium Ammunition, Alliant Powder, Weaver Scopes, Champion Traps & Targets, Gunslik, Outers, Shooters Ridge, Blazer, Fusion, Ram-Line, Redfield, Estate Cartridge, and if my memory is correct, they run the DOD's Lake City Ammunition Plant under contract.

Maybe their motto should be "If we don't make it, you don't need it."

I prefer CCI and Winchester myself but will use others if it's all I can find.
