I have a 270 wby mag in a model 70 winchester. I'm trying to work up a load with the nosler 130 grn with fed 215 mag primers. I've tried H-1000, IMR 4350 and 7828  with an LOA of 3.250 but can't get anything under MOA. I work out of town a lot and don't have much time to experiment,,,,,anybody have any luck with similar reloads??

I've got a twin to your M70. Mine is topped with a Leupold 2 3/4-10x scope. You might try Hodgdon 4831, starting with 68.0 gr with your 130 Nosler.  The Nosler Reloading Guide shows 72.0 as max, but I stopped at 69.5. Accuracy was right at 1" for 5 shots. I haven't chronographed it yet, but Nosler's manual shows it should be right around 3000 fps. Certainly not the fastest load, but it works for me.  That cartridge isn't known for being easy on throats, and I want to keep it accurate as long as I can, yet not be too slow. If I absolutely need more speed, it's easily achieved.
